Our Vision

Tao means a road, path, way; and hence, the way in which one does something; a method, doctrine, principle (wiki). At TAO Staging & Special Effects Company, we envision a place where special effects (SFX) entertainment is accessible and affordable to everyone in Utah. Founded by Tate A. Oehler (TAO) with 5 years in the entertainment & special events industry, our goal is to build an event services company that supports music artists, DJs/MCs, entertainers, planners, and special event hosts that will take your fans and guests on a journey and transform and elevate your event experience to one that they will remember for a lifetime.

Our Coverage Model

We are available for events throughout Utah, including Salt Lake City, Park City, Logan, Provo, and the surrounding communities. Our low pricing includes our travel time, vehicle expense, on site tech, consumable supplies, and setup/teardown time. Outside the Wasatch Front there is an additional fuel charge of $100-$300 (depending on distance).

If you are a DJ/MC: Hire us so you can focus on your client, music sets, audio, and lighting gear, while you MC and lead your event with less stress and pressure on your shoulders. Increase your profit margins by reducing the need for an assistant DJ, additional machinery & gear, consumables, and save time for your load in, set up, tear down, and load out. We are available for backline/white label (you charge the client as needed) as well as standalone. Booking Deposit: 50% (Non-refundable)

Final Payment Due: 48 hours before your event
